The location was excellent, the room itself was more than I had expected, the view of the harbour was gorgeous..
The suite we were upgraded to was quite luxurious. The location for shopping in Victoria was excellent - near Chinatown and other shopping areas. It was still a reasonable walk to teh main tourist attractions.
The size of the suite was amazing, very comfortable. The view was beautiful. We felt right at home the moment we walked in. Also, it was nice to have the room service option, the menu looked great. The TV and DVD in the living room were nice to have, usually there is no DVD player in hotels.
The elevators are slow.
Our trip involved 2 adult couples so we stayed in the "suite" - 2 individual bedrooms/baths and a shared kitchenette/dining/living room area. Our room was right at the harbor/dock. We loved it! Got to see ships, planes, fishing..... There were several great restaurants, wonderful shopping and excellent night life pubs within walking distance. Really a great way to see Victoria. We were only there for 3 days and we plan on visiting Victoria again and plan on staying at the Victoria Regent Waterfront Hotel & Suites AGAIN! did I say...great staff...
daliy newspaper, ice and bottled water service was nice.
our partial harbour view suite was of exceptional quality and value very enjoyable stay
we did'nt encounter anything we disliked and the staff were very friendly and helpful
The room was clean and comfortable, but not nearly worth the money.
The hotel lacks an outdoor seating area where one could relax with a book or just enjoy the view.
I liked the view and how close it is to the everything
No one to help you with your lugage
The location was fantastic. Right on the water with views of the inner harbor from all windows. The two bedroom suite was large and comfortable.
No down pillows. They said too many people were allergic, but I would have liked a choice.
All the staff that we came into contact with were very helpful and accomodating.
Lack of air conditioning was a bit inconvenient as we were there during a "heat wave". Although room fans were provided, it's not pleasant having a breeze blowing on you in order to stay cool. Probably wouldn't have been an issue except for the rare 85 degree temps we encountered during the first 3 days of our trip.
front desk was very efficient, continental breakfast can be improved wonderful view from the windows in tront the bay
From the moment we arrived the staff went above and beyond to assist us with a scooter rental, tour info, maps, breakfast everyday was included, delicious, great harbor view while eating , close to everything.
The siute was spaciaous and well equipped. View of inner harbour was amazing! Very close to old town and bastion square.
The staff don't even smile or greet you when you arrive at the hotel. They are generally quite unhelpful unlike the other hotels we stayed in BC. Breakfast is pretty much self service. Our suit was next to the float plane terminal so it was pretty noisy. But I was willing to trade the noise for the beautiful view!
Its location even though it was a bit hard to find and we drove past it three times before we realised where it was. The free parking was great. I liked also that even though we had booked two rooms we were offered a suite so we could stay all together as a family. The guy at reception actually gave us the keys to two rooms and let us choose - how's that for service!!!
I didn't like that on the breakfast table we were presented with a slip that said we had complimentary breakfast but that no gratuities were included - ie give us a tip but I guess this is strange coming from Europe but perfectly acceptable in US/Canada?
